Mistfall held a dove in her paws, the white feathers blending in with her white paws. She took a bite, and another, finishing the dove. A shadow fell over her and she looked up.
Hello?
She asked tilting her head, her pretty blue eyes shining.

Howlingwolf paused. He had been on his way to deposit a stark he had caught while hunting on the fresh-kill pile. His gold-yellow eyes flicked to the cat who had addressed him. He hadn't really noticed her before, but he supposed he had entered her personal space. His shadow fell across her face, probably masking her view of the sun. Howlingwolf stepped out of the way, his chilly expression unchanged.
"Sorry," he muttered around the fresh-kill in his mouth.

When the Tom stepped out of the way, Mistfall got a better view of him. He was a dark tabby with golden eyes, and his ears folded over. She tilted her head and smiled. She had never seen him before. The young warrior stood and padded quietly over. Its fine. You just scared me a little. she chuckled. Im Mistfall. What's your name?

OOC: You probably would recognize him since you live in the same camp and share the same den with him and were raised with him.
Howlingwolf looked at Mistfall without much interest. She must have been terribly unobservant if she didn't know his name. But then, she must be younger than he was, and was less familiar with the cats she hadn't hunted or patrolled with often. He decided to humor her, since he really had nothing else to do anyways. The tom set down the stark he carried and regarded Mistfall with his eyes, his expression so unemotional it could only be described as bored.
"Howlingwolf," he meowed in his deep, somewhat gravelly voice.

[Ill just say she forgot. Xd.] Howlingwolf… that name was familiar. She suddenly remembered seeing him come into the Nursery when she was Mistkit. Oh. I remember you. Remember, that tiny ball of fur that always say in the corner? That was me. she laughed, finishing her dove. She sighed. Today was a boring day, and Howlingwolf seemed bored as well. Do you want to do something? she asked, though he'd probably say no. He hadn't had anything to do with her when she was a kit, atleast not that she could remember.

Howlingwolf just stared at Mistfall as she kept talking, not really caring to point out that he knew her from being her Clanmate more than seeing her as a kit. Not that she would listen if he tried to explain that to her. Not that he cared enough one way or the other to even attempt to explain. At her proposition, Howlingwolf felt the whiskers above his eyes rise in the first expression he had displayed since she had addressed him. It was an expression that could be interpreted as either interested or skeptical.
"And what exactly did you have in mind?" he asked.

Of course Mistfall had seen Howlingwolf around camp. She just hadn't really payed attention to him. As a kit, they had talked once, so this was really only the second time. She shrugged. She could tell Howlingwolf had just gone hunting, scince he held a stark in his mouth. Mistfall thought it was kinda funny that he still hadn't dropped it onto the pile.
Well, you've already gone hunting, so we could go check out the border, or just take a walk. she suggested.

The skeptical expression didn't leave Howlingwolf's face. This she-cat must really not know him well if she didn't know enough to stay away from him. Most of his Clanmates recognized that he was... less than friendly. Towards anyone. Except maybe his siblings. But the fact that a cat actually would be interested in just going for a walk with him sort of intrigued the tom. He shrugged his broad shoulders.
"Sure to either," he meowed. "I'm done with my patrols for the day anyways." He twitched his ear and looked at Mistfall coolly, wondering how quickly she would separate herself from him. Most cats who didn't know him well made up some excuse or other within the first few minutes. Maybe this she-cat would last longer, maybe she wouldn't. But Howlingwolf was at least a little curious to see how long she managed to retain an interest.

Mistfall twitched her whiskers and sat back down in front of the tom. She looked back at the sky, trying to think of what to do. There weren't very many clouds today, so it would be a nice day for a walk in ThunderClan's forest. But she hadn't been to the border scince… well two days ago. And she wanted to see if there was anything going on. If Howlingwolf went on Patrols today, height have already checked the border, but how would she know? She wouldn't unless he told her.
Mistfall looked back at Howlingwolf and smiled. We could do both. Take a walk and check the borders along the way. she mewed, happy with her idea. She got up and shook out her gray tabby pelt, and started to pad towards the entrance. She looked back at Howlingwolf.
Come on!

Since the she-cat seemed decided on their course of action, Howlingwolf nodded and then picked up the stark. He ran over to the fresh-kill pile and set it down, then padded quickly back to the entrance to follow her into the forest. Howlingwolf ignored the few cats who stared at him, knowing that their interest would soon fade. No cat thought much of him, and he honestly didn't really care.
"I'm coming," he drawled, slipping out of the camp behind her. The forest greeted him like a dear friend, its sights and smells so familiar and beloved that he stopped for a moment to admire them before turning back to Mistfall.
"So, great leader of the casual border walk, which border shall we be walking by today?" he asked with a surprising amount of animation. Somehow being out in the forest with the prospect of seeing some of his favorite places and breathing the fresh air made his spirits lift a little above the monotony they usually suffered from.

Mistfall waited outside the camp entrance for Howlingwolf and when he finally came she smiled. I was thinking WindClan border first, if that's alright with you. she mewed, starting off into the forest.
She had been stuck in camp for a while, except for those title hunting expeditions, and she was glad to finally be free. The forest seemed so beautiful, well compared to the boring old camp with hyper apprentices and kits.

"WindClan," Howlingwolf echoed, drawing the world out with narrowed eyes. ThunderClan didn't really share a border with WindClan, per say. Fourtrees separated ThunderClan and WindClan quite effectively, and the meeting place for the full moon Gatherings was considered neutral territory. But it seemed like a fine place for a walk, regardless. "Fourtrees it is, then," he mewed with a solemn nod.

[Oops Xd. I forgot. Leys just say she meant Fourtrees then.] Mistfall nodded. She loved taking walks to Fourtreees. Sometimes she even went into the gathering place, and it was beautiful there. The four tall tree that separated ThunderClan from WindClan. She smiled at Howlingwolf and set off in that direction.
I love Fourtrees during the day. The ground is so pretty in the gathering place. she purred.

Howlingwolf regarded Mistfall coolly, thinking that she was very talkative. Bur that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Howlingwolf's sister was very talkative, and while he had never appreciated that quality in her much he still recognized it as acceptable in a young cat. Her remark about Fourtrees had him thinking of the tall sentinel oaks that marked the center of Clan life, the one thread that connected all the Clans together, one could say.
"It certainly is a sight to behold," the tom meowed finally.

Mistfall nodded. Yes. she mewed. She didn't have any siblings. Well, one but he had been still born. She knew Howlingwolf's siblings, but she could say that she knew him more then them. Mistfall wanted to make sure no WindClan warriors had gone to Fourtrees and into ThunderClan territory. ThunderClan didn't check that area to much, because WindClan warriors wouldn't do that unless they were all starving.
Mistfall looked ahead, seeing Fourtrees rising before them. She tapped Howlingwolf on the back and gazed up at Fourtrees. Should we go to where all the cats sit in Gatherings? she whispered, scenting the air, though she didn't pick and scent up, except for ThunderClan's, and WindClan's, except it was from WindClan territory.
