ooc:Lets start riverclans first rp!
Moonstar walks into camp carrying a fish for the fresh kill pile as she sees her clan enjoying the warm sunlight of a cold leaf-bare day. She places the fish on the pile and waits for the elders and queens to get their share. She grabs a small fish saving the bigger ones for the cats who seem to need it more as one of her clanmates comes over to share the fish with her.

Icefeather padded towards her leader. "Hi!" she mewed. She sat down and licked her cream paws. "How are you today?" She looked at the fish. It was a beautiful day. She might even go swimming later. For now, she knew she had to stay in camp.

"How are you Icefeather?" Moonstar asked her medicine cat who seemed to be in quite a good mood today. " So have you thought about taking an apprentice yet?" Moonstar looked up at the sky searching for any sign of a possible storm, but found none. So she continued to eat the fish she had picked. "would you like any fish icefeather?" She asked nudging it a little towards icefeather.

Icefeather purred. "Fine. An apprentice? Well, I'm not that old!" A lot of mentors turned to her. "Hey, I'm younger than the lot of you!" she mewed sarcastically. When they turned away, she took a bite of fish. "So, currently, who would be my apprentice?" she asked, not particularly wanting one, just randomly asking to find out.

" Well I'm not quite sure." Moonstar looked around the camp. " I havent seen any interested cats, Have you?" She asked to her it seemed that all of the kits wanted to be warriors not medicine cats. Maybe one of the current apprentices then? she thought to herself taking another small bite of the fish. "well even though your young you are a very skilled medicine cat, and all of your knowledge should be shared just in case we need a spare medicine cat." She smiled at icefeather.

"True...." she blinked. She thought for a moment. "You know that litter I helped Leafheart give? Well, I gave her some raspberry leaves. The next day, that tiny she-cat, Foxkit, had her nose into my entire stock of raspberry leaves and berries. The stains came out, but she's always got them on her, because I see her passed out asleep on the pile all the time! And shredded leaves all around her. And when you ask her, she replies 'Warrior!!!' really quickly." Icefeather took a bite of fish. She looked at her leader.

Snaketooth had just returned from his border patrol. He limped into camp as a dull pain seared through his paw. A thorn was hiding deep in his paw pad, and he needed to see Icefeather to help him get it out. He noticed the medicine cat and his leader, Moonstar, talking. He didn't want to inturrupt, but the pain was becoming onoxious.
"Icefeather?" he chimed, giving both cats an apologetic nod of his head. "I have a thorn stuck in my paw, and I was wondering if you could get it out for me." |

Icefeather turned and dipped her head to her leader. She looked at the deputy's paw, and carefully grabbed it between her teeth. She carefully pulled it out, a few drops of blood squished out, but stopped as soon as she placed her cream paw on it. "When no cobwebs are available, clean fur will do." she explained. When the blood stopped, she picked up the thorn and placed it outside camp. She came back and sat down again, cleaning her paws.

Ooc: Snaketooth isn't deputy lol. He's just a warrior.
Snaketooth flinched as Icefeather pulled the thorn out. The pain increased for a moment, and then steadily soothed itself once it was out. He glanced gratefully at her. "Thank you, Icefeather!" he said, giving his paw a careful lick.

Icefeather purred. "No problem!" She carefully took a bite of fish and relax. She loved being medicine cat. She close her eyes and listened to the wind and the river and all the sounds coming from the lake.

"You're just as skilled as your mentor, but much younger! I'm proud to have you as the medicine cat. If you think you've found a suitable apprentice and the kit is willing to be the next medicine cat, then come find me and we'll make it official!" Moonstar got up and stretched her claws." Well have a good day!" and moonstar walked away to go speak with snaketooth. "Were you leading the patrol snaketooth?"

Snaketooth shook his head. "No, Phantomshade lead the patrol." he replied, feeling better now that the thorn wasn't pushed deep in his paw anymore. "Everything was fine, though. No other clans were tresspassing, and we renewed the scent markers" he added in.
"However, I doubt the hunting patrol had much luck. The river is still frozen over, and the prey on land is still hiding away warm in their dens"

" Its good that we don't have any trespassers I'm not in the mood. Should we try and break the ice covering the river? Maybe we could catch more fish that way?" She was thinking deeply that just might work if the fish would swim close enough to the surface we could catch them, Because no-one is going to swim in that ice cold water! " What would you think about trying to break the ice?"

Snaketooth shrugged. "It sounds like a good idea. The thing, is, though, this ice covering the water isn't exactly thin. It was sturdy enough to hold me and Phantomshade on it at the same time with out breaking." he admitted, trying to think.
"If we could break the ice, we might be able to have a little bit more prey. However, we're going to need something strong or heavy enough to actually break it. Do you have any suggestions?" he asked, blinking as his amber eyes glanced back and fourth at his leader and medicine cat. |

"Hmmmm.... What if we found the thinest piece of ice on the river and pushed a big log, a HUGE log onto it then we throw rocks on it until it finally gives way...." She thought, That would take a ton of effort. and I dont want anyone to get hurt.... " I will probably need to talk this over with phantomshade but you're a good warrior whats your opinion snaketooth? Any ideas?"
