"Let all cats old enough to catch there own prey, join here beneath the Highrock for a Clan Meeting!" Blackstar yowled, springing onto the Highrock and sitting down. His ears were pricked as he surveyed the clearing of ThunderClan. He loved his home, and his clanmates. This leafbare was tough, but they would pull through.
His tail twitched patiently, and he narrowed his yellow eyes while waiting for the others to join him. It was time to assign mentors to some apprentices. Something he always liked doing. The young leader could remember how exciting it was to become an apprentice and train as hard as he could. Rasping a tongue over his sleek black fur, he lifted his chin up calmly.

Mistfall had been grooming her fur, when she heard Blackstar call all cats beneath highrock. She obeyed and stood up, padding delicately over. She sat down, waiting for others to join her. She couldn't help but wondering wy he was callings meeting.
Mistfall gave a small nod in hello to Blackstar, and looked at the Highrock. She wondered how it would feel to be a leader and standing up there, above the Clan.

Howlingwolf padded out of the warriors den, followed by his brother, Northwind, and his sister, Shrikefeather. The three cats made their way into the clearing for the meeting, sitting near the front. Shrikefeather pressed her paws into the earth impatiently. She did not like sitting still, that Howlingwolf knew more than any cat. Northwind glanced at her and then nervously looked back up at Blackstar, and Howlingwolf wondered what he was so concerned about. But then, his brother had always been the nervous sort, always fretting over nothing.

Shalestorm glanced up from some fresh-kill he was sharing with Briarpaw. Pricking his ears, the tom stared at Blackstar for a moment before standing. His thick fur sprang up at the movement, and he brushed it down impatiently with his paw before turning to Briarpaw. The apprentice was already disposing of the bones of their meal, and he waited for her to return before the two padded forward to sit and listen to the meeting.

Mistfall noticed Howlingwolf and his brother and sister come sit down. Se scooted next to him. Do you know what this is about? she whispered quietly in his ear, noticing Northwind seemed nervous. She shrugged, but she didn't know why there was a need to be nervous.

Howlingwolf started when he heard a voice in his ear and turned to see Mistfall sitting beside him. Out of all the cats to see, he supposed he should have figure it'd be her, but he still had not expected her to sit near him. He swallowed his surprise and shrugged slightly.
"I wouldn't know," he replied.

Shrikefeather glanced from her brother to the she-cat, Mistfall, who had spoken to him.
"What's this?" she asked with a dry smile. "Have you found yourself a friend, dear brother?" she asked sarcastically. She noticed that Northwind gave her a reproachful look but she ignored her brother. He was too sensitive to other cat's feelings. Why bother, when it was so much more fun teasing them?

Mistfall's whiskers twitched. Of course Howlingwolf would be uncomfortable if she say next to him. I don't know either. I can leave. she mewed, looking at her paws.
[Brb. I'm eating]

Howlingwolf shot his sister a cold look and then looked at Mistfall.
"Don't leave if you don't want to. I won't stop you either way," he meowed with a shrug. To his sister he said, "And you, stop trying to make her feel uncomfortable." His eyes narrowed when his sister let out a low snicker but he didn't say anything else.

"I've gathered you all here to give an apprentice her mentor." Blackstar announced, stretching his cold muscles. The wind wasn't too bad, but it was still in the middle of leaf-bare so it wasn't anywhere near warm. He didn't want to completely start the ceremony without his deputy Badgertooth or Sageflower and Honeyfrost, so he was gonna take it sort of slow.

Mistfall shot a glare at Shrikefeather but said nothing. Turning to Howlingwolf, she shuffled her paws. I don't think your sister wants me here. I'll leave. she mewed, flattening her ears to her head. She padded away, her tail dropping and sat in a different group.
Mistfall looked up as Blackstar announced what was happening.
Oh, they're giving those apprentices mentors. The ones that don't have mentors. she thought.

Howlingwolf opened his mouth and was about to inform Mistfall that Shrikefeather's opinion meant as much to him as a piece of rotting crowfood when Blackstar informed the Clan of the purpose of the meeting. And by the time the leader finished speaking Mistfall was already sitting somewhere else. Howlingwolf shot his sister a glare but said nothing. He supposed if one of the siblings didn't scare her off the other would have anyways, so it was one of those matter-of-time situations, as usual. Still, he was irked with Shrikefeather for chasing Mistfall away. He had thought they could have been... friendly, at least. If not friends. Because Howlingwolf did not have friends. He did not need friends. Or so he kept telling himself.

[Yes Reedkit] Mistfall glanced at Howlingwolf. She didn't think he had any friends, and had tried being friends with him but… it didn't seem like he wanted to be her friend. She looked away and trained her gaze on Blackstar, waiting for him to announce who would mentor the apprentices. She had never been a merit before and she couldn't help but hope Blackstar would say her name.

Reedkit saw all the cats of thunderclan gather at the center of the clearing, it seemed pretty interesting-Although he really didn't know exactly why they were. He scampered to the clearing too, noticing how tall all the warriors around him looked, making him feel a little uneasy as he slowly padded to the group. Reedkit glanced both ways, and sat on the left side, glacing at Blackstar.

Mistfall looked down to see a kit that had sat down, fairly close to her. Hi Reedkit. How have you been? she purred quietly, brushing the top of the kit's head with her tail tip. She smiled at him, wondering if she'd be his mentor.
