OOC: You DO realize the proportion issue of a cat carrying two rabbits, right? lol
Smokefeather shook his head and sighed. It would be a long walk back to camp, especially with that run he'd had. The tom padded back to where he had buried the blackbird, limping a little more heavily than usual. His shoulder was searing with pain, and probably would be for the rest of the day. Smokefeather put more weight on his other paw as he padded after Heatherclaw, rolling his eyes when he saw the warrior trying to carry both rabbits at once. He wouldn't get far before he tripped on them.

OOC: Hahaha just checkin' :3
Smokefeather followed Heatherclaw at an easy pace. He was rather glad that the rabbits slowed his Clanmate down. The soft pace was easier on his shoulder. When Heatherclaw stopped Smokefeather set his blackbird down and twitched his whiskers as he looked at his Clanmate, an amused expression on his face.
"That's why you should have let me carry one of the rabbits, mouse-brain," he chuckled.

Heatherclaw flicked his friends ear with his tail. "Then you would be in the same position as me. But if you want to carry one go ahead." He said amusement filled his voice.

Smokefeather grinned smugly at Heatherclaw.
"Fine, I will," he meowed, picking up one of the rabbits and then slipping his teeth into the blackbird's wing, too. The two pieces of prey were heavy--especially the rabbit--but he could probably manage it for a little while at least. He nodded to Heatherclaw, signifying he was ready to get back to camp.

Smokefeather did not have much difficulty at first. But by the time they neared the camp, the muscles in his neck and especially his shoulder were aching. He would probably have to stop by Fallowfeather's den to go through some of her exercises. They'd hopefully ease the tension in his old wound. Smokefeather limped into the camp and hurried over to the fresh-kill pile. He dropped the prey onto it with a relieved sigh, glad to be rid of the heavy burdens.
