The prey in Riverclan was so bad that Riverclan had to resort to prey on land. Doing a solo patrol, Snaketooth slowly padded through the forest, being quiet so that he could sense any prey that wasn't hiding away and sleeping in their dens and nests. He caught the faint scent behind the frost of a rabbit, which was sitting a few fox lengths away from the Windclan border. He took it into account, and decided if he was careful enough, he could catch it.
He approached it slowly, being careful not to make a single noise. When he got close enough, he broke into a run. He caught the rabbit for a second, but it broke free and ran for it's life. He wasn't about to give this one up! He ran after it as fast as he could, and moments later, he pounced with all of his might and landed on the furry creature, killing it. He felt a wave of satifcation come over him.
But his pride slowly faded as he glanced around him. The trees of the forest and the smell of the river faded into the scent of fresh windblown grass and a moorland that streched further than Starclan. He gazed over to see Windclan's deputy, Silverfrost, running his way. Mouse dung! There was no way he could possibly explain to her why he was standing on Windclan territory with a rabbit in his jaws. He'd look like he was stealing prey in leafbare, for sure! [/size] |

Silverfrost was out hunting when the wind carryed the stench of fish to her nose "odd I'm still a bit away from river clan boarder" she mewed to her self then decided to fallow the sent and when she came over a hill she saw a riverclan tom on her side of the border with a dead rabbit in his jaws she ran to him
" hay you riverclan warrior why are you stealing pray from my territory, tired of your smelly fish "she hissed at him

He'd really done it now. This wouldn't look good for him at all. As he saw the Windclan deputy running towards him, he dropped the prey. He panicked at first, but then he saw she was alone and just as scrawny as he was. Just as scrawny as most other cats were. Still, his mind edged with nerves.
"I..I didn't mean any harm" he said innocently. He didn't want to cause problems. "It was an accident. It was on Riverclan's side first, but then I accidently crossed it chasing it.." Snaketooth knew it was no excuse.
He nosed the rabbit over to her. "Here. Take it. It's on your territory, you take it"

She looked at him and how skinny he was and could only imagen what the other warriors look lime and couldent help fealling pitty for him "you keep it this is the only time ill let you off easy next time I whont ask qwestions first "she hissed not understanding this fealing she had in her gut she had never felt this before "what's your name

Snaketooth was surprised by her sudden sympathy and kindness...well, more like generousity. He blinked gratefully at her. "Thank you.." he breathed. But he wasn't sure if he was thanking her for the generous offer, or if he was thanking Starclan for being let off so easy.
"I'm Snaketooth" he told her. "And you're Windclan's deputy, right...? Silver....um...Silverfrost, right?" he asked, hoping to get her name right. He had only seen her a few times at gatherings, but have never spoken to her before.
He took a good look at her, and caught himself staring. He shook his attention away from staring. 'Snaketooth, what are you doing? This is a Windclan cat!' he thought to himself.
But then, he added, 'It's too bad she isn't in Riverclan...' to his thoughts solemnly.

Yes I am windclans deputy silverfrost you better getback to your clan and on your way out stop buy the boarder and take a Good smell and remember that you would stay off of any land that smells like that" she mewed teasingly then mentally shook herself "silverfrost what in stadclans sake are you doing " she Thoth to herself

Snaketooth nodded his head and took the rabbit. Without another word, he padded off back into the forest. He couldn't stop thinking about her as she vanished from his sight. Something kept telling him to go back. He wanted to ignore his thoughts. He really did.
Instead, though, he listened to them and ran back as fast as he could. By the time he got back, she was already padding away.
"Silverfrost! Wait!" he hissed. "I...I want to be able to see you again!"

Before she could stop herself she mewed "I whant to see you agent too" then she thought "why did. I just say that hes a riverclan cat.....but then agent he is very handsome"

Snaketooth hadn't thought about that one. He stood there and thought and he thought. The gathering was too far away for him to want to wait. But then, the perfect idea sprung into his head and he smiled. "Meet me at Fourtrees at moonhigh" he said. He'd easily be able to sneak out of camp. He'd say he's going to make dirt or something.

Snaketooth smiled widely. "Great! I'll see you tonight then" he said, giving her one last look over. She was absolutely beautiful. Never did he think he'd be the one to go after a Windclan she-cat. It was risky, but something told him it was well worth it.

She smiled "get back to your clan with the rabbit" she smiled and flicked his ear and started to pad away
