Personally, I like everything up there except for rap and screamo. But Country is a current favorite. The song Every Storm (Runs out of rain) is like... I'm in love. What about everyone else?

I love all kinds of music. The only genres I don't really listen to are rap and Jazz. Rap because it's boring and pointless (most of the time... in my opinion) and Jazz because it's too musically cultured for my tastes... I guess. I love pop and rock and metal and country and classical. I love it all! Although if we're talking about singing, I like Indie and folk music. Country is fun to sing but it doesn't suit my voice all that well.

Ooo dubstep! Do you know any good dubstep? I have some Skrillex and some District 78 but that's about it

A few Skrillex are the only ones I really know that are 'official'. I usually just listen to dubstep remixes of songs. Some are really good, like the Bombs Away remix for Somebody that I Used to Know.

Amberstar, I hate that you used the word 'Screamo' for the genre 'Metal' It just bursts my bubble -.-, but if you want to call it that, that's fine it just really annoys me, since I am a Metal person

Screamo and heavy metal are close to the same thing, but still different. Not the same genre at all =w=

Actually Screamo is not a genre at all, a lot of heavy metal haters call it 'Screamo' because all they here is screaming, to me its just sick. I understand where your coming, Metal and Heavy Metal are different, but Screamo isn't a genre, they just call it that.

Screamo is just a nickname for it, because many bands go by 'Metal' and 'Heavy Metal', but fans don't like the word 'Screamo' because it refers to just screaming. I am a fan of Metal and heavy metal, and I know many people who don't listen to the genre, they call it 'screamo,' because in most songs my bands sing they scream. Once I asked my sister to listen to a metal band. Once I listened to the band I asked. "Isn't that a Screamo band?" I am not trying to cause an argument, but its just fans hate it when you call it 'screamo' even though they hate it.
If you look for bands on wikipedia that are referred as 'Screamo' it will show the genre, and it will usually say something like 'Metal' ^_^

I'm a fan and I call it Screamo, so it's a bit of a generalization to say all fans of Screamo detest that name for it. I mean, seriously. It is mostly people screaming. And I love that. But I don't take it too seriously haha.

I don't mind you calling it screamo, its just that most fans dis that name, ik the music identifys that the singers are screaming, to me thats not all what it is. But i know where you come from, for a long time before my sister told me its 'metal' i used to call it screamo.

Actually, screamo is just a sub genre of Punk Rock - but not all Punk Rock is screamo. I don't like screamo - but there are some punk rock bands that I do like. For example, I wouldn't listen to Suicide Silence or Cannibal Corpse. But I'm a huge fan of Rise Against.

Yeah, I really never knew that, but when I look up 'Some screamo bands' it showed the bands I listen to, but when you wikipedia the bands I listen to, it would show the genre. I saw that 'Screamo' wasn't a genre in any of them.
