Description:
Hazelight is a pale sand-colored she-cat with the faintest of tabby markings. Her eyes are slightly different sizes and a molten-gold color. The effect of her different-sized eyes is that she almost always looks as if she’s grinning about something.
Personality:
Hazelight is optimistic and talkative. She is constantly chattering about something, and she loves nothing more than having a good conversation. Hazelight enjoys life and is forever expressing her love of it to others. But when it comes to hard things, suffering and battles and loss, she can be very understanding. Hazelight tends to be overemotional at times, and is very empathetic towards others.
History:
Hazekit and Wildkit were born to Jaystreak and Mangefur of ShadowClan. The kits led relatively ordinary lives. Hazekit was the sociable one, and Wildkit was the one with endless energy to run and get into trouble. Hazekit developed sensitivity towards the rules, but her sister was wild and got herself into more trouble than she cared to remember. The two sisters were apprenticed late because they caught whitecough, but when they finally became apprentices they were so passionate and determined they quickly made up for lost time. Hazepaw was apprenticed to Umberfur and Wildpaw to Swiftheart. The siblings remained close during their apprenticeship, and encouraged each other through the hard times—especially when they lost their mother to a rat attack near the carrionplace. They were eventually named warriors, Hazelight and Wildeyes. Shortly afterwards Wildeyes fell down a steep embankment and hit her head. After that she was never the same, and one day she just wandered off and was never heard from again. Hazelight imagined that she must still be alive somewhere, but she doesn’t know for sure and finds it hard to live without her sister. She hides her pain, though, beneath her cheerful exterior and youthful optimism. Few cats know how she was affected by her sister’s disappearance.
