Name: Twistedface
Age: 24 moons
Gender: Tom
Rank: Warrior
Clan: ShadowClan
Description:
Twistedface is a small cat with scruffy, plain grey fur. He has lanky legs, which sometimes make him clumsy. His eyes are narrow and green-gold. The tom’s nose is twisted from a break when he was a kit.
Personality:
Twistedface is seen as a very loyal and clever cat. He presents himself as very empathetic and kind, and seems to be concerned always with the welfare of the cats in his Clan. But in truth Twistedface is bitter and angry inside. He hates most of the cats in his Clan, but he loves ShadowClan as an ideal, and he believes that the cats in charge are making a mess of the Clan. Twistedface is apathetic towards most cats, and he likes to manipulate them to serve his own goals. The only ounce of true loyalty in him is to ShadowClan alone, not to StarClan or the other Clans or any cat. Just ShadowClan and himself.
History:
Boulderkit, Sunkit, and Forestkit were born to Marshfoot of ShadowClan. The mother was never known, and Marshfoot was not forthcoming about her. He raised his three sons with the rigidity of a warrior and not as much a father. He worked his kits even before they were apprenticed, and few cats recognized the strain this put on the three kits. In one of the bouts Marshfoot put his kits through Boulderkit fell against a rock and broke his nose. The break healed, but the break made his nose twist at an odd angle. Marshfoot, to punish his son for his clumsiness, had the leader of the Clan rename him Twistedkit. Because of his clumsiness and his father’s obvious disdain, Twistedkit was made fun of by his brothers and by the rest of his denmates. No kit would play with him, and he had to find ways to entertain himself. He was bullied often, and he grew to hate other cats. He was apprenticed to a stern cat named Foxfur, and was pressured to succeed. He was pushed hard, and began to hate his mentor as he hated his siblings. Finally it became so horrible that he decided he would get rid of Foxfur. He found a way to sneak deathberries into his mentor’s food, and pretended to be sad and horrified when Foxfur died. No cat knew why he died, but they assumed the fresh-kill was polluted, and the Clan went into a panic. But it passed over, and Twistedpaw and his new mentor, Hawktail, continued to train. But Twistedpaw’s brothers continued to pester him, and to purposefully show him up during training to make him look like a fool. Once they got close to becoming warriors they sabotaged his assessment and he was not made a warrior along with them. Twistedpaw, in revenge, pushed his brother Sunpelt onto the Thunderpath, where he was run over. And he managed to lure Forestleaf into the carrionplace, where rats set upon him. Marshfoot was devastated at the loss of his kits, and began to pay Twistedpaw more attention. It was thanks to his father that he finally was recognized and given his warrior name. After he became Twistedface, he managed to lure his father away, as well, and jumped on him from behind, delivering the killing blow before his father knew what had happened. No cat in the Clan suspected him, and still see him as a compassionate, weak sort of clumsy oaf who harbors no ill feelings for anyone.
